Junior Ranger Day at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park

Saturday, April 26

National Junior Ranger Day will be celebrated on April 26th at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park with the premier of a new Junior Ranger program for the Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield.

Kids may pick up the free activity booklet at the Spotsylvania Battlefield Exhibit Shelter.  While participating in the program, youngsters will learn facts and stories by exploring the battlefield and answering some questions along the way.  Upon completion they will earn a special Junior Ranger patch.  Additional Junior Ranger programs are available at the Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center, the Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center and Ellwood Manor on the Wilderness Battlefield.  The Junior Ranger programs are recommended for children ages six through twelve.

Join us at Ellwood Manor from 10 AM to 5 PM

Historic House Guides will be on hand to assist you with questions about the Ellwood/Wilderness Battle Junior Ranger Program.
