This page is a work in progress, but FoWB wants you to know that the bulk of our success is based on volunteer efforts and we are always LOOKING for VOLUNTEERS.
Some of the areas where volunteers can contribute their time and talent are as follows:
At Ellwood:
Seasonal (Late April – Oct): Interpreters act as guides for the house
Submit an application to become an interpreter: ONLINE or PRINT and MAIL

Annual (slows in the winter months): Ground Force maintains the grounds
Occasional: Special events
On the Battlefield:
Quarterly Park Clean Up Days (also includes maintenance projects)
Occasional: Special projects as needed i.e the Ellwood to Wilderness Tavern Trail
Planned: Guides (requires special training) for approved battlefield sites and tours
Other:
Occasional: Annual Dinner/Auction Committee; research and other special projects
Administrative: Website management
